On March 22, 8 of us hit the pavement with our grabbers and safety vests to pick up two areas in Warren County and Brunswick County.  Over 30 bags of road thrash were collected by this hearty band.  Sad there was so much trash to pick up but the sore knees, hips and backs at least made an impact; even if only for a short while.

To the driver who lost their gas cap on 903 near Eaton Ferry Estates, we found it!

Pictured are (l-r) Tony Moran, LGA board member, Ann Layton, Eaton Ferry Estates, Jay Warfel, LGA member, Eric Wooster (on knee), Brian Goldsworty and Jeff Zimmer, all LGA board members.  Not pictured are LGA board members John Cataldo and Carol Warfel, Lake Clean up chair and behind the camera.

We were saddened to learn of the passing of former LGA President Doug Hughes.   Doug was a long-time supporter of the LGA mission.   Doug served 3 terms as the President and on the board from 2005 to 2014.

He was also very active in the Lake Gaston Water Safety Council and served as its president in 2016.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Habitat for Humanity or your local animal rescue.
